An augmented reality window, with products browsing experience that lets users email, text message, or post photos and gifts wish-lists on Facebook.

This experience allowed users to interact with different offerings from Walmart, during the holidays shopping season, select a product that they like, have their photo taken with the product, and through text message system, receive this photo complete with direct link for facebook sharing and email posting.

For this project we created a simple, yet fully functional user interface, that people could operate using hand gestures only. Users can browse through the different products, select a particular product, and trigger their photo taken with the product. We combined face detection and a motion tracking system to focus on the users, and ignore non-relevant motion. The result was a very intuitive and flowing experience, with large numbers of people sending text messages to receive their photos.
